What does it say about a person when she is coming in for a landing and looking out the window, searching for landmarks she knows so that she can find places she's been, places that perhaps played a big role in her life, influencing her choices about her education, career and living location, and the only reference point she can find is the roof of the Weinerschnitzel on 4th street, from whence she can trace her way to SJSU and other points downtown?

I think it says she didn't have time to cook when she was in grad school, dammit.
