I went to lunch today with a woman who was due to have her baby yesterday. It was a little nerve-racking to know that it was entirely possible that she could go into labor while we were eating. It also didn't help that she wanted to describe all the stuff she had learned in her birthing classes about what to expect when the child comes out as I was eating my quesadilla with guacamole, sour cream, and chicken.
