I have found a new hero in Lyle Lovett. He's so cool. Best line that I heard: "We felt even more welcome in this town when I looked out the window and saw not one, but two pickup trucks." And he sings about sensitive penguins. How can you possibly not like this guy?

The concert was a heck of a lot of fun, and Jessa and I had a good time hashing out the differences between the styles of Bonnie Raitt and Lyle Lovett. Despite this, both are excellent musicians and singers, and when they sang together it blended perfectly.
