I've been invited for a second time to go to a friend's place to enjoy his gourmet cooking this weekend. Alas, I told him, for the second time, family duty calls and I cannot make it. However, I am in town for the rest of August, and on into the middle of September. That's when it struck me that, due to birthdays and holidays, I won't be in town much from then till the end of the year. *sigh* I'm tired of the driving already.

In other news, Jessa is blogging again, albeit sparingly, since her site is still "broken" and she has to do it manually. Go check it out! Encourage her (and her site-fixer) to make it 'just work' again :)
