SXSWi, Sunday:

woke up late, rushed in for a fabulous lunch at Serranos with 12 of my favorite people.

went shopping on South Congress, looking for birthday presents and hostess gifts. Instead, found a gorgeous top for me.

went home, messed around on computer for an hour and a half. decided next year, I'm coming to this conference with my own damn laptop.

went to Fray Cafe. more hits than misses, which makes for an awesome event.

towards the end, several of us realized we hadn't eaten anything since the fabulous lunch and were starving. drove to Magnolias.

sat in the coldest booth EVAR, had breakfast foods and floats. MMMmmmmagnolias.

home now, realizing that I haven't been to Paradise, Shady Grove or El Sol Y La Luna this year. Also, drank only one Shiner. Short visit = less stuff done, I guess.

Next year, resolved to stay till Tuesday so I don't miss 20x2 or International Day of Awesomeness, which this year includes Kevin dying his hair blue. Cannot wait for the photos. Will most likely also rent a car next year, so I can stop inconveniencing my hostesses. We'll see.

Have you noticed that I'm not even debating whether I'll come out next year? Every year I dither, and every year finds me here. Why fight it?

2:30 a.m. now. leaving at 1 p.m. tomorrow for the airport. hopefully, 8 p.m. will find me landing in Oakland, with someone extra extra special picking me up and taking me home so I can take my first real shower since Friday morning. keep your fingers crossed for me, will ya? thanks!!
